Family Feud at 7th Birthday Party!

Explaining rules for game during 15th birthday party!

Talking about Games with Kevin is essentially talking about me! I've been a big fan of game shows since I was very young. My first time hosting a game show was for my seventh birthday party where I hosted Family Feud; and from that year on ‘til high school, every one of my birthday parties was based on a TV game show or similar, that I was hooked on at the time. Some of these were Family Game Night, Zoom, The Olympics, American Gladiators and more!

In high school, I found an opportunity to host Family Feud once more, during our Winter Carnival event. It was very successful all three years I did it! After graduation, I became a part of a special needs agency that included client-led activities at one of their locations. I reached out wondering if I could host Family Feud. The director said yes and that first session was the beginning of something that turned into a big hit!

Soon I was doing sessions once a month, which then became once every other week, then every week. Over time, I couldn’t help but to add more games, and slowly developed a roster of many games. Ultimately, this lead to the current list you see today! Then, about a year ago (August 2024) I was talking with my family about my desire to make Games with Kevin a small business, and to my surprise, they thought it could be a reality! And the rest, as they say, is history!

When I’m not working on games for “Games with Kevin”, I compete in track and field, and basketball with Special Olympics Vermont. In June of 2026, I’ll be a part of Team Vermont and compete in track and field in the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Another hobby for me is playing Minecraft, creating a variety of games and challenges for myself and others. Someday, I hope to have people play and maybe compete in my games.

I’m Kevin’s mom as well as his “Copilot” in his business.  How many moms are fortunate enough to work with their son on something as fun as game shows?  I feel very blessed because that's what I get to do!  I often say to myself the lyric to a song from The Sound of Music:  “I must have done something good”!

I think what really defines me is being a dancer and former dance teacher.  In addition to performing, I took my mom’s place as director and main teacher for The O’Brien School of Dance for ten years until Kevin was born. Since then, I had several part-time jobs that included working one-on-one with several special needs children.  This led into me working with special needs adults through the Howard Center.

I’m married to Brian Conger, who's been invaluable behind the scenes for Kevin's business! And we both couldn’t be more proud of Kevin!
